Reservations & Info
After our initial telephone discussion and your request for a boarding service, we arrange a personal visit so we can introduce ourselves and be introduced to your kitty, tour the surroundings and complete paperwork. Filling out our preliminary forms will reserve space for your cat(s) on the dates you desire.
Meals are served twice a day
Conscientious, affectionate and individualized care for your kitty while you are away
Smart diet: your cat(s) eats their accustomed food for maximum digestive happiness.
Our playground is designed to give your cat exercise and mental stimulation. Playground fun: the amount of time each cat spends in the playground is dependent on how may cats are boarding with us and if your cat wants to be in the playground also.
If you know your cat gets carsick, please let us know and we will be sure to not feed right before you will be picking up to avoid car sickness.
Check In / Check Out Times
In order to better care of our cat guests, all arrivals and departures will be by appointment only during our regular business hours.
Our policy at CatNap Boarding of Hawaii is to release kitty to owner only unless owner specifically authorizes the release to another individual.
Reservations are necessary.
Creature Comforts
You are welcome to bring your cat’s bedding from home to help the adaptation process and ensure the highest level of comfort for your cat. We do provide cat sleeping quarters with bedding.
All boarding is done by reservations only. Please call ahead as there are busy times through the year when we will be booked.
We request that you bring your cat’s food; please be sure food is labeled with cat’s name and amount to feed.
Each guest has their own storage cubby. Refrigeration is also available.
We provide filtered drinking water that is changed frequently.
We provide kitty litter box and changing to ensure as fresh as possible.
Visits to your kitty while in boarding is permitted, but not normally recommended. It is often very disturbing and stressful for your kitty who is trying to adjust to a new place. They will remember you when you return.
If you wish to arrange a visit with your cat, please schedule one in advance. A 30 minute visit is all that we can allow.
You can bring your own toys and small towel or clothing that can be laundered and that will fit neatly in the condo. We do not wash every day so sometimes we may send back items dirty in a plastic bag.

Flea/tick medication administered at least 3 days prior to stay (or administered upon check in
- one dose at $15.00)
Health
In order to keep your kitty happy and healthy, we require vaccinations to prevent the spread of common feline diseases. Proof of vaccinations’ is required and kept on file at our facility. We have strict health requirements for the safety of your cat.
Our guests do not share common space unless they are from the same family. The security of knowing they will be protected from other visitors and remain in their own space minimizes stress and reduces the spread of upper-respiratory viruses. For the protection of all guests, cats are required to have their vaccinations up to date prior to arrival. Cats must also be current with Frontline/Advantage protection. We do screen our guests upon arrival and if fleas are detected we will administer (one dose) and you will be charged $15.00 accordingly.
To ensure your kitty is staying in the cleanest possible environment, we’ve equipped CatNap Boarding of Hawaii with a special ventilation system to provide fresh and clean air daily.
Boarders do not roam free or share common space. The security of knowing they will be protected from our other guests and remain in their own condo minimizes stress and reduces the spread of upper respiratory viruses.
We are happy to administer any daily medication to your cat while staying with us. We will follow your instructions faithfully and will contact your Veterinarian if there are any unusual changes or reactions that may occur. A nominal charge of $3/day. Detailed instructions will be needed for this service.
On request, we will administer oral or topical medications for $3/day which will be added to your bill. All directions must be in writing.
In the event there is a medical emergency, our main concern is for your cat. We will have our 24 hour vet come for treatment. You will be responsible for these charges. We will attempt to contact you over the telephone immediately to keep you updated.
